Beware of zombies on the Yellow Brick Road

Greetings.

Jewish date:  25 Marḥeshwan 5770 (Parashath Ḥayye-Sarah).

Today’s quasi-holiday:  Take a Model Train to Work Day.

Worthy causes of the day:  “Restore Coastal Louisiana - The Petition Site”, “End Gender Discrimination in Health Insurance Coverage - The Petition Site”, and “Big Insurance Kills”.

Today’s weird thing is The Undead World of Oz: L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Complete with Zombies and Monsters by L. Frank Baum and Ryan C. Thomas.  I discovered the existence of this book yesterday by accident, and it seems to be yet another book of the “any classic + zombies” genre.  I am not clear what the point of adding zombies to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is.  The original book had its own fair share of monsters, such as kalidahs and hammerheads, and scary action scenes already.  Enjoy or be scared or something and share the weirdness.
