Today’s news and commentary, some of which Barry is responsible for:
- “Israeli Democracy (1974)” (If at some point I make ‘aliyyah, someone remind me to start my own party and run for office on the platform that I could not possibly do worse than the parties currently in charge.)
- “Back to School”
- “Give some blood, get free movie tickets” (Interesting tactic.)
- “Point, Click ... Eavesdrop: How the FBI Wiretap Net Operates”
- “New Orleans marks Katrina anniversary”
- “China's Wall becoming less and less Great”
- “Whistleblowers on Fraud Facing Penalties” (This is inexcusable. People exposing fraud ought to be treated as heroes, not punished. I would like more detail on who is benefiting from the fraud and how they are connected to the Bush administration, but one company that shows up in the article which ought to be familiar to almost anyone is Halliburton. Vice President Richard Cheney used to be CEO of Halliburton.)
- “Pranksters Hit Karl Rove's Car”
