Greetings.

Jewish date:  27 Kislew 5770 (Parashath MiqQeṣ).

Today’s quasi-holidays:  National Children’s Memorial Day and Worldwide Candle Lighting.

Today’s news and commentary:
Today’s weird thing is “DIY Book Scanners Turn Your Books Into Bytes”.  This is an increasingly computerized world, and it comes in handy to be able to make electronic copies of one’s paper books.  The really cool part is when someone figures out how to make a device to do it himself inexpensively.  Enjoy, share the weirdness, and happy Ḥanukkah.
