Today’s news and commentary:
- “The Game in Gaza”
- “When religious belief clashes with science...” and “South Africa: Church Clips Wings of Virgin Mary Teen” (I cannot emphasize this enough: Piety is not an excuse to do something stupid! Please note that some religions have wisdom literature among their canon, e.g., Proverbs, and canonical texts are meant to be heeded and not ignored.)
- “Fertility Patients Favor Donating Unused Embryos for Research” (Good grief, Bush is not even on the side of the parents of frozen embryos.)
- “Ten Commandments for cars: no vroooom! at the inn” (This is a good application of one’s religion to practical issues.)
- “Vertical farming in the big Apple”
- “Thieves steal Herman Munster's identity” (I cannot make something like this up!)
- “DHS acknowledges own computer break-ins”
- “DARPA to raise robot army”
- “Opinion: What Peres can do for Jonathan Pollard”
- “Beyond petroleum with Vivoleum” (Somehow I doubt this idea is going to get very far.)
