Today’s news and commentary:
- “Study: Inkjet printers are filthy, lying thieves”
- “Stem tide” (Excellent point of what is wrong with Bush’s position.)
- “It Sounds Fishy, but Cull the Prey and Its Predator Will Thrive”
- “Defense against Ancient Virus Opened Door to HIV”
- “Missing: Large lake in southern Chile”
- “PM to propose releasing tax funds to PA” (I have no clue what the gezornenblat ’Olmertt is thinking, considering that no party in the “Palestinian Authority” is friendly to Israel in any way, shape, or form, including ‘Abbas. Arguably this is treason.)
- “Nature Precedings: Early Access to Scientific Results” (As a scientist, free access to papers always makes me happy.)
- “Anti-smoking efforts have big impact: expert” (Excellent. Now when is the government going to get around to the ultimate anti-smoking effort, banning tobacco?)
- “75% of Palestinians favor elections” (Even they recognize their pathetic excuse for a government sucks. Let us pray that whoever they pick next time has enough intelligence, moral integrity, and strength of character to genuinely try to make a real peace with Israel. I am not holding my breath, though.)
