Beware of Rubik’s Cube-solving robots

Greetings.

Jewish date:  16 ’Iyyar 5770 (Parashath ’Emor).

Today’s quasi-holidays:  Hairstylist Appreciation Day, Queen’s Day.

Worthy causes of the day:  “We want the DISCLOSE Act - A project of Senator Russ Feingold, Senator Patrick Leahy, and Senator Chuck Schumer” and action.firedoglake.com | Sign the petition to President Obama: End plans for offshore drilling“”.

Today’s news and commentary:

Today’s weird thing is “Lego Robot Solves Bigger and Harder Rubik’s Cubes (video)”.  They now have robots made of Legos which can solve cubes as large as the V-Cube 6 (6 × 6 × 6).  Enjoy, share the weirdness, and Shabbath shalom.
