Worthy causes of the day:
- “Tell President Bush: Take Plan B to the UN”
- “Public Airwaves for the Public Good”
- “Mo. man burns books as act of protest” and the site described therein, “Prospero’s Bookstore”
- “Sun, Sea, and Sand (1995)”
- “Report: Palestinian 'honor killings' up” (Obviously the work of those who are not real men. Real men do not kill women because of mere suspicions or rumors, as suspicions and rumors are frequently wrong, not to mention the utter lack of due process. It also strikes me as grossly inconsistent that we never heard of “honor killings” where the victim is male.)
- “W. Bank gunmen move from petty crime to organized extortion” (Being a terrorist is disgraceful enough. Extorting money from one’s own people to finance terror is doubly disgraceful.)
- “Victim of a unique and visceral hatred”
- “Shopping Cart Germs”
- “If It Feels Good to Be Good, It Might Be Only Natural”
- “28 New Exoplanets and Four Multi-Planet Systems”
- “A Genetic Basis for Language Tones?”
- “'Haniyeh is scared of being assassinated by Israel'” (Good. Maybe now he’ll consider behaving like a decent human being.)
- “Fabricating an emotion”
