Relevant to Divine Misconceptions: I am trying to identify a vaguely remembered story, probably a novel. In it one character suggests that God made people believe different things because He wanted to be worshipped in different ways. Unfortunately, I do not remember which story it is. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thank you.
Today’s news and commentary:
- “Israeli Mafia”
- “Gaza kids 'training to kill Jews'” (This is exactly the sort of thing to do if one wants to keep a conflict going for another generation. It is not like the Gazans are keeping up their end of the alleged truce anyway.)
- “Democrats Say Palin Initially Backed Bridge” (Republicans can also flip-flop.)
- “Barack Obama's answers to the top 14 science questions facing America” (John McCain, please join in and answer these questions, too.)
- “Microsoft has been granted a patent on 'Page Up' and 'Page Down' keystrokes” (If they can do this, I have to try patenting the number 2. Think of the royalties I could get off of that!)
