- “Nature Has No Agenda”: Submitted by Dad. While politics has its time and place, it has no place in matters of science. Physical reality does not, never has, and never will care what anyone thinks. It is what it is regardless of what us mortals think, answerable only to the whatever creator deity exists. Science thrives on trying to discover what physical reality is, and the best way to make a successful career in science is to demonstrably show one’s hypotheses fit reality better than anyone else’s. Scientists have zero reason to support popular beliefs, no matter how convenient, since they have more to gain by proving everyone else wrong. Attributing overwhelming scientific consensus that there is about global warming to politics simply does not reflect reality.
Frankly, I have no idea why Charlie does not flee at the sight of the pink and blue unicorns. I am expecting that if there is a “Charlie the Unicorn 4”, Charlie will be going crazy with a chainsaw. Enjoy and share the weirdness.
